CONTENTS
James Pulham and Son were responsible for the design and landscaping of many prestigious sites throughout England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland – and even one or two on the Continent of Europe – including Buckingham Palace, Sandringham Royal Estate. Waddesdon Manor, Madresfield Court, Battersea Park, Dunorlan Park in Tunbridge Wells, RHS Garden Wisley, and many others.
Space limitations meant that the number of individual sites discussed in this superbly illustrated book was unavoidably restricted to about forty of their most prestigious ‘rockscapes’, so the following listings are intended to help the potential reader establish which ones are included. A brief summary of the principal people and locations described in each Chapter of this critically-acclaimed book – together with a small number of sample pictures – can be found in the pages linked to the following Table, which consequently represents a comprehensive List of Contents.
